Welcome! A message from our Director

Welcome to Forest Lake Camp! The Summer of 2011 will be our our 85th birthday! It is notable and hard to believe that since 1926, Forest Lake Camp has been providing enriching, life-shaping experiences for hundreds of children each summer.

Located on a breathtaking 800+ acre Adirondack property with our very own spring fed lake, we have created not only a remarkable summer camp but a place that captures the truly unique feeling of "home" for our campers and staff.

What exactly is "home"? For me, it’s a place where I feel loved, respected, calm, goofy, and sometimes even get goose bumps from excitement. For others, it's a place where they can be themselves; a place where one can try something new, step outside a comfort zone, and feel safe and accomplished for doing so. We strive for all of this and more at Forest Lake Camp. I honestly feel there is no greater gift we can give, than a place for kids to call their very own for the rest of their lives.

You can even learn about our new 2011 Family Camp where adults and kids alike can enjoy everything that Forest Lake Camp has to offer.
