Dear Forest Lake Alumnus/Alumna:
Want to be sure we are all aware of the "help get the camp
opened" weekend June 8-10. This is a significant opportunity
to assist the camp and at the same time, spend a beautiful
weekend in the Adirondacks. The camp is asking for our help in
preparing it for the opening on June 24. Each of us will be
given work assignments, while being fed and housed. No
advanced reservations are required. Bring friends if you'd like.
An Invitation To Recharge Your Spirits
Another alert- no formal reunion this year, but you and your
family, along with any prospective FLC campers or parents you
may know, are welcome to join in the Alumni Family Camping
Week. You are invited to stay at the camp any number of days
from Friday, August 24 to Monday, September 3. All facilities
will be open for your use, including the waterfront. Cabin bunks
and bedding will be available, and a continental breakfast will
be served in the dining hall each morning. No lunches or
dinners -no formal program-just a great time to frolic in the
mountains and recharge your spirit. We are all part of the same
camp family, so set your calendars and we'll see you there.
