Campfire at Forest Lake Camp

The focal point of all traditional camping experiences is the campfire and Forest Lake Camp has had this special tradition for 84 years. Even considering all the wonderful opportunities to be had at camp, there is still something very special about an FLC Campfire. Campfire is held every Sunday night and is provides a wonderful end to a fulfilling week for each camper. These are the times when camp songs are born, achievements awarded and appreciated, and the feeling of being a part of something great is evident.

Candlelight Campfire occurs as the final campfire of each 4-week session. If there is one moment that might define the magic of camp, this may be it. Bursting with tradition, heart warming moments and (often) tears, the Candlelight Campfire and the processional by every member of camp, is a moment one will never forget.
